Matt Bohnet (Football)

Starting QB of the 2000 State Championship Team - Class of 2010

Grand Ledge High School (1997-2001): 2000 State Champion; Honorable Mention All-America by PrepStar Magazine (2000); As a senior: 2,052 yards, 17 Passing TDs 390 rushing yards & 13 Rush TDs; Detroit Free Press: D1 All-State (Captain); The Detroit News: D1 All-State & No. 25 on the Blue Chip list by The Detroit News; LSJ Offensive Player of the Year & Male Athlete of the Year (2000); LSJ Dream Team & D1 All-State for Baseball (2001); State of MI 2001 East v West All-Star Game Selection.

Rex Carrow (Baseball)

Hall of Fame Inductee - Class of 2001

Pro baseball career: 3rd baseman Rex Carrow played in the minor leagues from 1947 to 1951. He began his career in the Philadelphia Phillies system, hitting .339 with 38 hits in 33 games for the Appleton Papermakers in 1947. In 1948, he hit .274 with career highs in home runs (8), doubles (39), hits (128) and total bases (195) for Appleton. Joining the Cleveland Indians system in 1949, he batted in the .250s with the Harrisburg Senators in 1949 and 1950. In 1951, his final season, he hit .279 in 108 games between the Cedar Rapids Indians and Harrisburg. Overall, he hit .270 with 524 hits in 534 games over five seasons. He later became a college professor who authored numerous books, book chapters and papers.

Corbin Clouse (baseball)

Davenport University: In 2016, as a redshirt sophomore, he went 5–0 with a 1.62 ERA. After the season, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 27th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft.

Clouse made his professional debut that year with the Danville Braves, and after pitching 6+2⁄3 scoreless innings, was promoted to the Rome Braves where he finished the season, posting a 1.52 ERA over 15 relief appearances. He began 2017 with the Florida Fire Frogs and was promoted to the Mississippi Braves during the season. Over 41 relief appearances between both teams, he was 5–4 with a 2.53 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP. After the season, he played in the Arizona Fall League. He began 2018 with Mississippi and was promoted to the Gwinnett Stripers in August. Over 45 appearances (three starts) between the two clubs, he went 6–2 with a 1.94 ERA, striking out 83 batters in 65 innings. He returned to Gwinnett for the 2019 season, going 0–3 with a 5.65 ERA over 28+2⁄3 relief innings, striking out 37. 2021: Over 13 games (three starts), he went 1–0 with a 1.48 ERA and 33 strikeouts over 24+1⁄3 innings.

Jaysen Hansen (Golf)

Member of the 1995 State Championship Team - Class of 2006

Grand Ledge High School (1993-1996): MHSAA Team Class A State Championship (1995), finished 3rd individually at the State Meet in 1995 & 5th in 1996, finished 2nd individually at the CAC meet in 1995, won the individual CAC championship in 1996, 4xAll-Conference, 4xAll-Area, 4xAll-State Selection (3x 1st Team & 2x All-State Dream Team), set school record for single round score of 68, averaged 72.4 in 1995, averaged 74.3 for career.

Jon Horford (Basketball)

Grand Ledge High School (2006-2010): Unanimous 1st Team All-State (2010); Averaged 17.0 points, 11.6 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game for his career at GL; 21.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 5.0 blocks as a senior; 3-Star Recruit, #76 Power Forward nationally (ESPN).

University of Michigan (2010-2014): 107 Games Played & 12 Starts; FG%: .547, FT%: .705, 310 points, 315 rebounds, & 62 blocks; 2011-2012: BIG TEN CHAMP; 2012-2013: 31-8 (ties school wins record), Final Four & NCAA Division 1 National Runner-Up; 2013-2014 BIG TEN CHAMP, Team Captain; Team qualified for the NCAA Tournament 4 years in a row.

University of Florida (2014-2015): Grad transfer, started 28 games. 2nd-leading rebounder (4.8 rpg) and shot-blocker (27).

NBA G League (2015-2019): Played in 93 games and started 32  in 4 seasons in the NBA G League with Grand Rapids Drive & Canton Charge. He averaged 4.1 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 46.4% FG and 72.5% FT for his career.

Grand Ledge High School (2000-2004): 1st Team All-CAAC & 1st Team All-Area (2004), Caught 24 passes for 347 yards at TE, All-Conference & All-District baseball player who helped lead team to regional championship & State Quarterfinals Appearance.
